VALLE CRUCIS, N.C. – Club Ferdinand, the first Exotic Car Sharing, or “Fleet-Sharing Club”, in the world, is supplying the pace car for next weekend’s AMA Superbike races at VIRginia International Raceway.

The AMA Superbike Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals, presented by Dunlop and ROCKSTAR Energy Drink, is the culmination of VIR’s summer racing season. Bringing in star riders and bikes from around the world, AMA Superbike racing is the pinnacle of American motorcycle competition.

DANVILLE, VA. - The annual Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals Superstars Kart Enduro is always one of the most popular events that accompany the AMA Superbike weekend at VIRginia International Raceway.

Staged Thursday evening before the AMA Superbike Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals, the Enduro features teams consisting of a fan, an AMA star, a media representative and a staff member of either VIR, AMA, M1 Entertainment or a sponsor. The Enduro challenges teams to record best aggregate times on the Plantation Valley Kart Track’s brand new 270cc Stratus karts.

VALLE CRUCIS, N.C. – With just a few more days to qualify, three lucky race fans will win hospitality from the famed Mast Farm Inn before and after the AMA Superbike Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals. Not just hospitality, but transportation to and from the track, as Club Ferdinand will provide the winners use of a new Porsche to drive to and from the race track.

Fans who register before the looming deadline of August 6 will have an entry in the drawing for a chance to win lodging at the internationally-known Mast Farm Inn for the Thursday evening prior to the big race, and again for Sunday evening, following the event.

DANVILLE, VA. – Amateur sports car racers from nearly 25 states will converge on VIRginia International Raceway August 11-12, driving for points leading to the national championship Runoffs.

SCCA’s racers come from all walks of life: from retired engineers to high school students, with everything in between. The 2006 Oak Tree Nationals attracted entries from half the states in America, plus Puerto Rico, Italy and the Bahamas. This year’s entries look even more diverse, with nearly 200 cars entered and around 250 cars expected to compete on VIR’s scenic hills and valleys. Entries are already in from 20 states plus the Bahamas, with more arriving daily.
